Stella Maris Canada is in the process of being formally certified as a national agency, and subsequently obtaining status as a Registered Canadian Charity.

As soon as this process is completed (sometime in 2024), it will be possible for us to receive donations directly for the benefit of the seafarers we serve. Until this happens, we encourage those who wish to financially support our work to contact their most proximate Stella Maris port chaplaincy - see “Our Team” page.

In addition to financial contributions, in-kind donations are most welcome as seafarers are always in need of warm clothing such as toques, gloves, socks and winter jackets, as well as toiletries and chocolates, and the like. We also regularly provide Catholic seafarers with rosaries and other devotional prayer materials.
